I opened this up and left it to expand for a few days. When I first opened it I got a bit of a rubbery or foam scent. After it finished unfurling and reconstituting itself the scent seemed to be totally gone. This mattress is an all foam mattress, not a hybrid. Despite being all foam there is a degree of support. It’s cushy and soft, but not comically soft. I tend to prefer softer beds since herniating two of my discs, since I sleep on back all night without moving. Firm mattresses can feel uncomfortable if you’re in one position all night. This mattress didn’t cause any sore spots, as it just sort of gently cradles my body. The overall quality seems to be good, especially at this pricepoint. The external fabric is smooth and soft. The seams all appear to be tightly sewn. I do not see any immediate defects. The issue I’ve encountered with past foam mattresses is that they just don’t hold up well over the years. Sunken spots tend to form where you commonly lay. Hopefully this one fairs better, but only time will tell. I’ve had this up for about a month. In that time I can tell you that I find the bed comfortable so far. I was worried that 10 inches wasn’t going to be thick enough, as I’d seen some thicker options. It’s honestly fine though. The cooling foam is not cooing me down dramatically. It’s also not making me feel hot, so that’s good at least.
I ordered this REVO Sleep 10 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress and I am very pleased with it! I am making one of our bedrooms into a guest bedroom and I needed a mattress for the bed. I wanted to find something nice and affordable, and I think I found something *very nice* while still being affordable! The mattress comes rolled up and compressed, but upon letting it loose, it expanded very quickly to its full size! I still gave it the recommended wait time, just to be sure. It filled out very evenly and there were no curves or creases that I could find. I also didn't detect any smells that I'd consider negative. The mattress feels supportive and plush at the same time. Initially sitting on the mattress, I thought it might be a bit too firm for my personal taste - I generally like a soft mattress. I was also curious about the gel cooling. I'm a hot sleeper, and didn't have the best experience with a previous memory foam mattress several years ago, so I wanted to try out this new technology!I have to say, I am impressed! I slept really well on this mattress! It wasn't too firm for me, even as a dedicated side sleeper. I felt supported, and my right hip (a problem spot for me) wasn't achy in the morning. I also don't remember waking up even once to kick the covers off, something I do nightly in my own bed when I get too hot, so I think the cooling gel works!I really like this mattress a lot! I think my guests are going to be very pleased to sleep on it, and I am seriously considering ordering the king size version for my own bed!
We’re both around 200 lbs and mostly side sleepers, so foam mattresses either work well for pressure relief or fail quickly from lack of support. This one clearly prioritizes softness over structure. The mattress arrived compressed in a box and expanded quickly. It reached full height within just a few hours. I didn’t notice any bad plastic smell. The cover material is soft and slightly slick, almost silky, which makes sheets slide on easily but also makes the surface feel less grippy when getting in or out of bed.Despite being advertised as medium-firm, this mattress is soft. Very soft. You sink deeply into it instead of resting on top of it. Getting out of bed actually takes effort because the foam compresses so much around you.For side sleeping:• shoulders feel very comfortable at first• but hips sink lower than the torso• after a while the hips start to ache from misalignmentSo it solves pressure points but creates alignment issues. For back sleeping:• noticeable sag in the midsectionThis feels designed more for lightweight sleepers than average or heavier adults.Movement is well isolated. One person turning over does not disturb the other much. That part works as expected for deep memory foam.Neutral so far. Not actively cooling, but also not overly hot.Who this would work forGood for:• lighter sleepers• people who want a plush sinking feel• shoulder pressure reliefProbably not good for:• ~200 lb sleepers• people with hip or lower back sensitivity• anyone who struggles to get out of soft bedsThis is a comfort-focused mattress rather than a support-focused one. It feels pleasant when you first lie down, especially on your side, but the softness allows hips to sink too far which leads to discomfort over time.Mattress preference is personal, but at our weight this behaves like a soft/plush mattress, not medium-firm.
I got the REVO Sleep 10 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress for our guest bedroom, and it honestly feels like more than a backup bed. From the moment it expanded, it looked and felt like a solid upgrade. It comes vacuum sealed in a compact box, weighs a little over 60 pounds, and reaches its full 10 inch height within 24 to 72 hours. The overall feel is medium firm, with a balanced mix of softness and support that works well for most sleeping styles.Pros+ Has a medium firm feel that supports side, back, and stomach sleepers+ Gel infused memory foam helps manage heat and reduces heat buildup+ Multiple foam layers for pressure relief and therapeutic support+ Good motion isolation for couples or shared spaces+ Clean, modern design with a low profile 10 inch height+ Great value for the comfort and qualityCons- Noticeable foam smell at first, especially if you are sensitive to odors- Mattress only, no box spring or bed frame includedWho It's For / Not ForThis is a great option for everyday sleepers, guest rooms, or anyone who wants supportive comfort at a reasonable price. If you like a super plush, sink in feel, this may feel a bit firmer than you prefer. My Final ThoughtsOverall, it's great for what it is, a well priced gel memory foam mattress that delivers balanced support and a modern look. Once it fully airs out, it's a comfortable, dependable addition to any bedroom.
I bought the REVO Sleep 10 inch gel memory foam mattress in queen size and it has been a really solid upgrade. It expanded fully and aired out pretty quickly, with only a mild new foam smell that went away after a short time. The feel is comfortable without being too soft, and it does a nice job balancing cushion and support. It has enough give to relieve pressure on hips and shoulders, but it still feels stable when changing positions. I also noticed it sleeps cooler than the older memory foam mattress I had, which was the main reason I chose a gel option. Motion transfer is low too, so it is easier to sleep when someone else moves. Overall, it is a comfortable mattress that feels supportive, cool, and well made for the price.
